Description
The glockenspiel (from the German Glockenspiel, “bell chime”) was originally a bell chime, as its name indicates. Its transformation into a metallophone was in response to the need for a portable instrument. The Glockenspiel has a C Major scale. It encourages children to explore sound and music.
